Also, if there's enough time on the Grand Avenue tour, the guides will take you down the steps to see Frozen Niagara, and it is definitely work taking all those stairs!

This was a good place my family and I went to.. My parents couldn't do the cave tour, but my nephew and daughter went. Must say it was a pretty cool place to explore and see how things where years ago. This is a site that will probably take two days to explore.. Definitely will go again!!

Must see national park. If you have the time and ability take the wild cave tour which is an off trail crawling tour. Others tours from senior/kid friendly to more extreme availible.

This was a great stop a beautiful area to drive through. The visitor center was lovely and extremely efficient for getting tickets to the various tours. And what a great selection of Tours. There was something for everyone and every ability from our most athletic person to the person who could not walk very well. The guides are very informative and are fun to be with during the tour. They answer every question no matter how off the wall, pun intended. Looking forward to our next time through Kentucky so that we can stop here again. And don't miss their ice cream shop or there black cherry preserves unbelievably good.

We had an amazing time here! We did 2 tours, the Historic and the Grand Avenue. Grand Avenue was definitely a strenuous workout with lots of stairs, and a couple of climbs up what they call "Mount McKinley." So, definitely take the guides seriously when they say that this hike is quite the workout! The views were spectacular though and our guides were great. Even though I'm claustrophobic I managed to make it through both the tours. I will say, the Historic tour had a couple moments that definitely made me feel anxious, but they never lasted for too long.

This was our first visit to the caves and we are already planning a return visit to take other tours.

We took the historic tour and really enjoyed the experience. Our guide and narrator was Ranger Ethan and he was excellent. Very personable, energetic, and obviously enjoys giving tours and teaching about Mammoth Cave.
